NA 118 election updates: Stay tuned for live results amid battle between N’s Hamza Shehbaz and PTI’s Aliya Hamza

Pakistan’s general elections, taking place on February 8 are likely to see intense competition among political parties as they seek to emerge victorious in the NA-118 Lahore-II constituency.


Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz’s (PML-N) Muhammad Hamza Shehbaz Sharif, Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf-backed (PTI) Aliya Hamza Malik, Pakistan Peoples Party’s (PPP) Shahid Abbas, Jamiat Ulema-e-Islam-Fazl (JUI-F) Muhammad Afzal, Jamaat-e-Islami’s (JI) Muhammad Shoukat, Tehreek-e-Labbaik Pakistan’s (TLP) Abid Hussain and others are vying for the National Assembly seat in the constituency.

The NA-118 Lahore-II — formerly NA-124 Lahore-II — comprises City Tehsil’s Charge No 15, 16, 17, 18, 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 24, 25, 26, 27, 28, 29, 30, 31, 32, 33, 35 and 36, along with Shalimar Tehsul’s Charge No 4, 6, 13, 15, 37, 38, 39 and 40, and with the exception of Circle No 3 of Charge No 5.


In the 2018 general elections, PML-N’s Hamza Shehbaz Sharif won by 146,294 votes with PTI’s Nauman Qaiser in second place with 80,981 votes.

The constituency’s population stands at 965,233 with 735,251 registered voters — of which 394,224 are male and 341,027 are female voters.
